Responsibilities

What You Will Do

Make mechanical changes and adjustments to line equipment and operate all automation equipment
Make complete changes of tooling used to produce various automotive patterns and make the necessary programming and equipment set-up changes to both programmable controllers and robots.
Plan and address daily production needs.
Ensure quality production to meet customer specifications
Make SPC checks, maintain all control charts, and complete all process checks as required.
Maintain line cleanliness, including proper storage of tools, emptying trash and getting full trash hoppers dumped.
Accurate and timely report/enter/log daily production information into the appropriate forms and/or databases.
Assign and direct personnel on pattern changes and short periods of downtime.
Report all unsafe equipment and/or conditions.
Maintain operations at highest standards set forth by PGW’s customers, production, and quality departments.

 

What We Offer

Starting rate $19.14/hr
12 hour shifts rotating days (3 days one week and 4 days the next)

Qualifications

What We Need From You

  • Requires a high degree of mechanical aptitude.
  • Adequate computer skills to navigate computerized systems.
  • Must be willing to assist in other roles as called upon or needed.
  • Previous experience driving fork truck, preferred but not required
  • At least one year previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements and Safety:

  • Perform duties within normal manufacturing environmental conditions.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, push/pull, grip to use hand tools, reach, see, hear and speak.
  • Will work in warm conditions.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and with assistance, above 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must follow posted security procedures at all times while in the building.
  • Must follow all Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
