Overview

VITRO Glass, has full-time openings for Production positions at its Meadville Plant  

 

 

Production positions require lifting & carrying, packing, loading, cleaning, operating equipment, and/or general utility duties in a 24/7 glass manufacturing plant.   Starting wage rate is $17.00/hr. with benefits available.  After successful completion of a 6-month probation period, the wage rate will increase to $17.82/hr. with the potential of $19.84/hr. based on time in the position.

 

Physical Requirements, Safety, and Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work rotating 12 hour shift schedule
  • Must be able to safely operate a fork truck
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Must follow all PPE requirements
