What You Will Do:   Vitro has maintenance openings at the Tipton, PA facility.  This position includes working in a glass plant performing various jobs to support the production of glass products. Responsible for supporting Production by performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and preventive maintenance.

 We have immediate openings at Vitro Automotive (formerly PGW) in Tipton, PA.  This position works as a member of the Production Department and is responsible for transporting, staging and loading glass and other materials. 

 We have immediate openings for entry level production workers on Night Shift at Vitro Automotive (formerly PGW) in Tipton, PA.  This position works as a member of the Production Department and is responsible for inspecting and packing glass per our customers specifications.  As an entry level production worker, you will have multiple opportunities for career growth and advancement. 

This position is responsible to inspect glass to customer specifications, setting aside rejects or reworking glass.

Facilitate process monitoring and process control through effective communication with Team Coordinator, Operations Engineers, Operations Support, Technicians and other staff members thus maintaining an efficient operation while minimizing downtime and maximizing the process to achieve safety, quality, and process goals.

We are looking for a responsible Receiving Clerk knowledgeable in SAP to receive, inspect and record shipments with raw material or products. You will be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the Purchase orders, Maintaining correct inventories, Overseeing Cycle counting on stored materials and keeping the direct materials current to the IATF receiving control plan. The Vitro Glass Technology Center is looking for a Facilities/Maintenance Technician to work on-site in Harmar, PA (near Pittsburgh, PA). Productionpositions require lifting & carrying, packing, loading, cleaning, operating equipment, and/or general utility duties in a glass manufacturing plant.  Those hired will be required to work 12 hour shifts in a 24/7 operation.  Production workers starting wage rate is $19.00/hr. with benefits.  After successful completion of a 6-month probation period, the wage rate will increase to $19.63/hr. with another increase at 1 yr. to $20.26/hr. with the potential of $21.56/hr. based on time in the position.
