What You Will Do:   Vitro has maintenance openings at the Tipton, PA facility.  This position includes working in a glass plant performing various jobs to support the production of glass products. Responsible for supporting Production by performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and preventive maintenance.

Productionpositions require lifting & carrying, packing, loading, cleaning, operating equipment, and/or general utility duties in a glass manufacturing plant.  Those hired will be required to work 12 hour shifts in a 24/7 operation.  Production workers starting wage rate is $19.00/hr. with benefits.  After successful completion of a 6-month probation period, the wage rate will increase to $19.63/hr. with another increase at 1 yr. to $20.26/hr. with the potential of $21.56/hr. based on time in the position.
